Samantha Fleischer provides support for DRi‘s strategic and development consulting services as the firm’s Development Associate.
Since joining DRi in 2018, Sam has worked closely with DRi‘s senior consultants to build capacity at a wide range of growing organizations, from First Look Media to the Society for Human Resource Management to Medicines360. Sam has conducted sector research to help design new major donor fundraising programs, volunteer engagement models, and leadership development.
Sam brings considerable non-profit management skills to DRi‘s clients. She spent several years as Development Associate at The Navy League of the United States, where she prepared annual development plans and built systems to support them, including prospect research, donor communications, and special events.She is a Blackbaud Certified Raiser’s Edge Professional (bCRE-PRO) and Nonprofit Fundraiser (bCNP – Fundraising).
Sam is deeply committed to mission-driven institutions as a professional and volunteer. Before her tenure at The Navy League, she served as Jewish Inclusion Fellow and Volunteer at RespectAbility, a non-profit that advances opportunities for people with disabilities. She has also volunteered as an instructor in religious schools since 2011.
Sam holds a B.A. in Women’s Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park with an Honors College citation.
