Pat Ouellette brings a unique and valuable skill set to DRi‘s Communications team.
Pat first joined DRi as an interim Executive Assistant to CEO Jennifer Dunlap, quickly became an integral member of our firm, and moved within several months to a permanent position as an Executive Search Associate. In both of these early roles, he worked very closely with the stakeholders and candidates for whom DRi‘s Communications team develops search materials, gaining a first-hand perspective on their needs.
In 2019, Pat brought his considerable knowledge and perspective to the Communications team in a full-time capacity. As DRi‘s Communications Manager, Pat develops marketing collateral that engages high-level job candidates and prepares presentation materials that help Boards of Directors and C-suite executive prepare for robust interviews. He also plays a key project management role across the entire Communications team.
While Pat is particularly interested in the work of non-profit healthcare organizations, he has developed search collateral for a wide variety of non-profits across the country. His work has recently supported critical searches at the Human Rights Campaign, National Audubon Society, National Council for Behavioral Health, Navy Mutual Aid Association, and other organizations across the country, from Santa Barbara, CA to Chicago, IL to Danbury, CT. A Maine native, Pat has also worked extensively with DRi‘s clients in the Northeast.
Before joining DRi, Pat spent more than 5 years as a Senior Travel Consultant and U.S. Office Manager at WildChina, where he managed relationships with leisure, educational, and corporate travelers. He has personally traveled extensively throughout China and Tibet and also in Spain, where he briefly served as an au pair.
Pat holds a Bachelor’s degree in East Asian Studies from Haverford College and speaks both Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.
