DRi is delighted to announce the placement of the new Chief Operating Officer at Trout Unlimited, a national organization that conserves North America’s coldwater fisheries, building resilient ecosystems that help mitigate the water-related impacts of climate change.
Jennifer Dunlap, DRi’s President & CEO, worked with Trout Unlimited President Chris Wood to recruit a leadership partner for a membership organization that had doubled in size over the last six years. The COO is charged with building operations to match the excellence of TU’s best-in-class conservation work, including organizational development, resource management, and strategic planning initiatives that will help consolidate and expand TU’s growth. Jennifer and Chris closely engaged TU’s Board of Director throughout the search for this key role.
Today we recognize Joanne Theurich for becoming the new Chief Operating Officer at Trout Unlimited. Joanne has built and led large-scale operations in multiple growing organizations, including membership organizations. Joanne most recently was Headquarters Chief of Operations Services at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, where she managed a $37M operations budget for a research institution that funds 300 scientists at 60 U.S. universities. She previously served at FPA Medical Management, where she oversaw a $15M division responsible for services to medical institutions employing 65,000 people. She looks forward to bringing her growth management skills to Trout Unlimited.
Congratulations to Joanne and Trout Unlimited—we look forward to seeing their success together!
