Congratulations to Roslyn Hannibal-Booker for Becoming Director of Development at the Joint Center

DRi is pleased to announce the placement of a Director of Development at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, an organization founded in 1970 to support newly-elected Black officials which quickly evolved into America’s Black think tank.

DRi partnered with the Joint Center to find a development leader to establish comprehensive fundraising strategies to achieve the Center’s-short- and long-term goals. The Director plays a key role in fostering direct relationships with individuals, corporations, and foundations, and helps to create the Center’s strategic plan.

Today we congratulate Roslyn Hannibal-Booker on becoming the Joint Center’s Director of Development. Roslyn has nearly two decades of development experience, with an emphasis on frontline fundraising. Most recently, she was Director of Development at the Immune Deficiency Foundation, where her responsibilities include both fundraising solicitations and donor relations. Much of her career has been fundraising for advocacy organizations, and prior to becoming a fundraiser, she had a career in social work focusing on disenfranchised individuals.

Congratulations to Roslyn and the Joint Center—we look forward to seeing their success together.

DRi partnered with CSA to identify a Vice President to design and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure and diversify financial support for the organization. The Vice President will serve on CSA’s executive team and will broaden the donor base to include more individuals, corporations, and corporate foundation grants to sustain and grow its work. We would like to congratulate Jeanette Radford on becoming the new Vice President of Development at Council for a Strong America. CSA is a great fit for Jeanette’s background and areas of passion; she has previously worked at Year Up, DC College Access Program, and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington. Jeanette brings a mix of skills to CSA, having fundraised from individuals, corporate, foundation, and government sources throughout her career. We congratulate Jeanette and Council for a Strong America—we can’t wait to see what Jeanette will accomplish for CSA!"
