Pat Ouellette joined DRi as an interim Executive Assistant to CEO Jennifer Dunlap. He quickly became an integral member of our firm and moved within several months to a permanent position on our executive search team.
Working collaboratively with the other members of the team, Pat identifies and recruits high-quality candidates for DRi’s executive search clients. Pat combines a candidness and ease in customer relations with an exceptional attention to detail to be an outstanding representative of our clients to potential candidates. He also has an infectious admiration for the ability of non-profits to transform small initiatives into disproportionately large impact.
While Pat is particularly attracted to the work of non-profit healthcare organizations, he has recruited successful candidates for senior leadership positions in a variety of non-profits across the country, from the Chicago office of Operation Smile to the Guideposts Foundation in Danbury, Connecticut to Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service in Baltimore.
Before joining DRi, Pat spent more than 5 years as a Senior Travel Consultant and U.S. Office Manager at WildChina, where he managed relationships with leisure, educational, and corporate travelers. He has personally traveled extensively throughout China and Tibet and also in Spain, where he briefly served as an au pair.
Pat holds a Bachelor’s degree in East Asian Studies from Haverford College and speaks both Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. In addition to traveling across the country and around the world, Pat enjoys playing the piano and being an amateur artist who can make some pretty interesting things out of Styrofoam when he is not serving non-profit organizations.
