Margaux Garcia is the Executive Assistant to DRi’s Chief Operating Officer, Nancy Racette. In this role, Margaux not only manages Nancy’s consulting schedule but also assists broadly in the day-to-day management of DRi’s operations, ensuring that we provide the best value to our clients.
Margaux takes a primary role in supporting all of DRi’s office logistics, including vendor accounts and billing. Margaux is the liaison to all of DRi’s vendors and works with our accountant to track search expenses for our clients and to ensure accurate and timely billing.
Margaux’s vendor management includes responsibility for the state-of-the-art executive search database that we employ. Margaux’s intensive behind-the-scenes work ensures that all office logistics function smoothly to support client services and candidate outreach, whether we are hosting search committees or candidates for high-level executive positions.
In addition to her operations role, Margaux also aids executive searches by facilitating DRi’s initial online interactions with candidates and by ensuring that updates about search progress are delivered regularly to our clients.
Margaux brings to DRi extensive experience in office management through her work as a Congressional staffer for multiple representatives from her home state of California. She also worked as a Student Ambassador for the University of California Santa Cruz, where she designed, implemented, and managed a student-run Night Safety Escort Program.
Margaux earned a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics at UCSC. She stays occupied in her free time training her 2-year-old French bulldog, Stella, to do new tricks. Her tech-savviness at DRi carries over into her free time, as well, where she is an active participant in online gaming.
