Charisse Talbi became Director of Administration at DRi after joining the firm as Executive Assistant to the firm’s co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Nancy Racette.
As Director of Administration, Chari works closely with the firm’s leadership, manages a set of external vendors, and oversees a team of Executive Assistants to coordinate all operations that support DRi’s services to clients and candidates. Her oversight includes new business management, accounts payable and receivable, human resources, and technology. As a native Spanish speaker, Chari also helps support DRi’s work with international clients, most recently serving as a liaison to the Board of Directors at the Vicente Ferrer Foundation.
Chari had a similarly extensive scope of work in her prior role at the U.S. Embassy in Lima, where she served on the administrative staff during two presidential administrations. As Acting Executive Office Management Specialist, she participated in developing the transition plan for the new Ambassador and Deputy Chief of Mission, reviewed diplomatic notes, headed a Foreign Service Officer bidding cycle, and developed technological processes and procedures that restructured workflow throughout the Embassy.
In addition to her considerable administrative experience, Chari has a professional background in mental health counseling and applied behavior analysis. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Florida International University.
