Charisse Talbi serves as Executive Assistant to DRi’s Chief Operating Officer, Nancy Racette. Chari joined DRi in early 2018 after returning to the U.S. from Lima, Peru, where she served in the U.S. Embassy’s administrative staff during two presidential administrations.
At DRi, Chari coordinates the delivery of top-level service to clients and candidates. Chari manages all logistics for the COO’s project calendar, including coordination and documentation of meetings with Boards of Directors and search committees, scheduling for dozens of candidates, and project coordination with the full DRi team. In addition to her direct support of executive searches and development consulting projects, Chari plays a dual role as office manager within DRi, with responsibility for billing, vendor management, IT, and HR functions.
Chari had a similarly extensive scope of work in her prior role at U.S. Embassy Lima, where as Acting Executive Office Management Specialist she participated in developing the transition plan for the new Ambassador and Deputy Chief of Mission, reviewed diplomatic notes, headed a Foreign Service Officer bidding cycle, and developed technological processes and procedures that restructured workflow throughout the Embassy.
In addition to her considerable administrative experience, Chari has a professional background in mental health counseling and applied behavior analysis. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Florida International University.
