Development Resources, inc. (DRi) is delighted to announce the completion of our partnership with Scotland’s oldest and most international university, the University of St Andrews, to build its first U.S.-based professional fundraising team.

Today we congratulate Moira Sharkey on becoming East Coast Development Officer and Lily Nguyen on becoming West Coast Development Officer for the University of St Andrews. Moira and Lily round out a four-person team that includes Kathryn Humphreys as Head of Development for the U.S. and Leah Dalton as Alumni and Family Engagement Manager.

St Andrews’ new East Coast Development Officer, Moira Sharkey, brings more than a decade of experience in fundraising, program development, and volunteer management to the university. She previously led a growing development and fundraising program at Colorado State University, where she built a donor pipeline from the ground up and secured gifts from alumni, friends, corporations, and foundations.

Lily Nguyen, St. Andrews’ new West Coast Development Officer, most recently served as Regional Director of Advancement at Pomona College. Ngyuyen identified, cultivated, and solicited alumni at major giving levels in support of diverse college initiatives. She has particular experience fostering relationships on the West Coast as Pomona’s representative in Northern California and Washington state.

St Andrews is excited to add both new leaders to its development team. We extend our enthusiastic congratulations to the University, the entire U.S. team, and to Moira and Lily. We look forward to seeing the success you all achieve together.
